Davis Bayou Campground

Arrived at the campground Friday afternoon. The park has been full all weekend. Some locals are leaving today. Nice big spots. We are camped next to Ron and Linda DeJong. Can't say we have done or seen anything here yet. First thing, took a nice hot shower and called it a day on Friday. Yesterday, we went into Ocean Springs to grocery shop. Carl grilled and we took a walk. DeJongs went to the casino.

Getting Already To Leave AGAIN

We will be heading out tomorrow morning which is none too late because the temp is dropping and the snow is coming. Yesterday the doctor gave Carl the okay to go. The infection is gone but there is still some inflammation and swelling.

Still Home

We should have left, but not sure when. Carl had to go to the hospital last Thursday with a case of cellulitis on his leg from the knee to his foot.  Right now it is staying in a red, swollen foot. He is on IV antibiotics and not sure when he will be released.  As soon as we get the okay, the next post will tell you where we will be.  It looks like part of our plans will have to be changed.

Getting Ready to Leave

Starting out in the New Year for our winter get-a-way.  We will be going with our friends, Ron and Linda DeJong this year.  Will post the date we will leave later.  Watching the weather for the exact day, but it will be either January 14 and 15.
